A surprisingly creamy and luxurious tasting semolina gnocchi, infused and encrusted with Parmesan cheese and topped with crispy prosciutto. “Gnocchi alla Romana” from Salumeria 104.

Why do I get such a kick out of every time a snobby neighbor of mine asks “Is he a Havanese?” and I get to respond with “No, he’s a freakin’ mutt. If he’s lucky he’s a Dandie Dinmont terrier mix” and just walk away?
Shot out to sir Walter Scott. Wootie woo.

By far the best subs I’ve had in Florida. Mr. M’s Sandwich Shop in Hollywood is easily over 20 miles from my house, I’ve eaten there 3 times in the last month. Yes, they’re that good. This the “Super (Mixed Italian)” I forget all the cuts, I just know it’s yummy. The bread is crisp on the outside while soft and airy on the inside, making every sandwich that much more exceptional. The “Genoa Salami” is my usual, it’s just the perfect balance of textures and flavors. If you’re around the area up North, hell if you’re in Key West, make it a point to get your butt to Hollywood and try these subs.
